Localhost: Lightning Talks IV

This Localhost talk will feature Recursers giving 5 to 10 minute lightning talks on work they've done recently:

  • Nikhil Benesch, Winter 2, 2019, on teaching gcc to compile Go better
  • Katie Silverio, Fall 2, 2018 and Fall 2013, on designing and implementing a transactional DBMS from scratch
  • Jiheh Ritterling, Winter 1, 2018, on In Plane View: simulating a 2D perspective in a 3D world
  • Andrew Kelley, Spring 1, 2017 and Fall 2013, on why Zig is a better C compiler than C compilers

Food and drinks will be available at 7:00 pm, and talks will run from 7:30 - 8:15 pm. We will not have a dedicated Q&A session, but you'll be able to chat with presenters at the end of the evening.

Special thanks to Xandr for sponsoring this Localhost talk!
